quick fruit & yogurt salad

this fruit salad can be thrown together in under 2 minutes, seriously.  i like to use a mix of fresh and canned fruit to make it even quicker-  always at least 2 types of fresh fruit in the mix, but after that, any combo works.  this salad is perfect for when you've left sides for the last minute or you have surprise company and need something extra.  you can add a dash of poppy seeds for texture, or coconut or chopped nuts.   a dollop of canned whipped cream can add a little touch of sweetness, and stir in a couple spoonfuls homemade whipped cream if you have it on hand.  so easy and it really is good!

2 types (or more) of cut fresh fruit  (apples, strawberries, bananas, kiwis, mangos, oranges, grapes, etc)
1-2 cans fruit, drained, (peaches, pears, mandarin oranges, pineapple, marachino cherries, mixed fruit, etc)
1 cup yogurt, any flavor is yummy
optional:  sprinkle of poppy seeds, or coconut, or chopped nuts

mix everything together and serve! yummy with a little dollop of whipped cream mixed in or on top!
